This trip was our honeymoon – actually five-honeymoons ;-)

My wife wanted to go to Africa, I wanted by bike – that’s why we have decided to cycle through this continent.

In 5 months we did 7560 km, passing 11 countries: Namibia, Botswana (me alone – Ela during that time was earning money in Madagascar), Zambia, Zimbabwe, Mozambique, Malawi, Tanzania, Burundi, Rwanda, Uganda and Kenya. We started in Swakopmund at Atlantic Ocean and finished in Mombasa at Indian Ocean.

Hungry. Tired. But happy!
